Corporate Information

Puerto Fénix de Puertos & Estibajes S.A., begins its Port activities on July 7, 2004 as the only Multimodal Terminal of Paraguay, operating as the Fluvial Port, Puerto Seco and Granelera Terminal. To date, more than US$ 40 million has been invested in infrastructure, thus becoming one of the main multimodal terminals in Paraguay, with the possibility of receiving super heavy loads.

The Terminal covers an area of approximately 100 hectares, of which more than 40 hectares are currently being developed with real estate investments thus making it possible to offer its clients large and comfortable warehouses for storage of all types of merchandise, as well as a fertilizer plant with capacity of storage of more than 90,000 tons, it also has more than 1,500 meters above the Paraguay River, at Km. 1640 of the Parana Paraguay Waterway (HPP), it is strategically located in Mariano Roque Alonso just north of Asunción with unbeatable conditions of land access outside the urban traffic of Asunción, land access route of entry and exit of goods to and from Argentina and Bolivia. Also, being the port terminal with the closest river access to Puerto Remanso.

The Terminal has 3 high-strength concrete springs and built on large capacity perforated piles. The main wharf is mainly destined to container and bulk cargo operations, it has a length of 220 meters that allows simultaneous operation of two vessels. The second pier has a length of 105 meters and is used for container operations, bulk cargoes, cars, machinery, cement, fertilizers, etc. The third dock has a length of 25 meters and is mainly dedicated to general cargo of smaller size, supply and support to ships.

We have implemented a fire prevention system with certification from the Volunteer Fire Department of Paraguay.
